    Hi folks,

The AGM went smoothly and I had a good night.

Next Years Editors and Executive of DU Publications are:

    DU Publications Executive
Chair: Kate McKenna (currently Icarus Editor)
Treasurer: Graham Ó Maonaigh (currently Secretary and former Photo Editor of TN)
Secretary: Christine Bohan (she will be TNT Editor next year also)
Alumni Officer: David Symington (currently TN Deputy Editor)
Amenities Officer: Derek Owens (currently News Editor of TN)

    Next Year's Publication Editors
Trinity News: Andrew Payne (Currently TN Sports Features Editor)
Icarus: Co-Editorship between Cathleen McCarrick and Charloette Newman (relaunched the Lit Soc Journal this year)
Miscellany: Ronan O'Dubhslaine (Currently Treasurer of Publications)
Piranha: Niall Morris (currently SU Ents officer)

The new committee will take up their posts at the end of Trinity Term. We will be having another of our famous workshops on April 29th in TT. COme along all. As for those that made off with some booze. May I suggest a small favour of an article for any of the publications next year in payment. Piranha is especially easy to right for. All you must do is be a funny bastradd.

Excellent. The TN's Science section is perfect for some ICT related rants. Stuff on the proposed EU Software Patient, Google-Imperialism, P2P Politics... etc etc. There is a huge wealth of stuff purely in the CS end of things alone to choose from. The last TN of the year is next term. Most articles are shortish(i've always had trouble keeping them small).
    Give it a lash folks.

actually if you want CS related ranting's there are much better people to talk to than me tbh - i'm much more of an "anything but a CS article" person :P

ah so you're a writer not a reader. hmm. don't like those folk. me and you are enemies now. if u see somebody that looks like a cross between, as evilution described me as, a cross between ron perlman, dennis pennis and marilyn manson, handing you a salt shaker in the buttery, be sure to check it's lid is securely screwed on. you have been warned.

  • Moderators, Regional East Moderators Posts: 21,504 Mod ✭✭✭✭Agent Smith
