Using a F-splitter on NTL

Anyone successfully used a splitter on the NTL TV point - trying to watch TV and have BB in same room, without having to dick around with swapping cables. A few problems; 1. Connection seems very slow sometimes and often stops working 2. Can't do a reboot on the modem through the splitter.

Splitters cause the signal to degrade about 5DB. They're no use as I had a similar problem. You're meant to get a seperate CATV point for the cable podem as standard in anyway.

I have one - no problems with either tv or broadband signal.

If that doesn't work, you can always return to argos under their no quibble 16 day money back blah blah blah
