NTL Cut me off!!!!

    And rightly so but heres the story. Moved into rental accomodation - NTL hadn't been cut off so we had it for a few months gratis. Got a letter from NTL saying we had to start paying for it by a certain date. To be perfectly honest forgot about it until all we got was snow on the box. Cable had been cut very close to the box on the front of the house. I plan to move out of there in about 3 months and don't fancy paying reconnection and getting a bill sorted out.
    Now we live in a bungalow and it would be very easy to do a makeshift reconnection. What wrath of NTL would this incur.

    Well I'm pretty sure you'd be breaking the law, but I know people who do this and they get away with it no problem.

    re-connect & see what happens NTL serously dont give a sh_it they'll just disconnect you again the worst they'll do is refuse you service,they wouldve charged you a connection fee regardless of wheter you were already connected.It would be better for you if they didnt have your name but if you think you know what to do?......
    (i should also re iterate that you would be breaking the law & as such would like to point out that i am not encouraging you to re-connect merely pointing out my opinion of the situation)
