    Hi there,

Does anyone know if there is a third volume of the Supreme Powers comics out yet? Or Graphic Novel? I read the first two vols over the weekend and really enjoyed them.

Also was the recent 'What if" series that Marvel did any good? Are there any copies left in Forbidden Planet, Sub Coty or third dimension...with the demise of the Dreamwave Transformers series, i need to get my comic fix elsewhere....(o:

    cheers
    D

The "What If" comics I read were poor. About Doom becoming the thing, the x-men with magneto, and they were fairly crap, the original series posed really good philosophical spanners into the works of iconic characters, this one just took popular settings, and characters, threw them together, and vomited it onto the pages.

    Try rising stars.
It's writtrn by the same guy, J. Michael Strajyng*!rhth£sdgshgsky!!!
    And it's really cool.
If you want some of the better What If's, you can buy all the clasics in graphics.

Supreme Powers is currently in the monthly run of the follow up to the two books. It's about four or five issues in. It's excellent, as is Rising Stars by the same guy. No alternate universe bull****, just good honest super heroes!! :D

yeah i picked up the last few issues of SP, very good, thought it ended a bit abruptly though in issue 15 (i think it was 15 anyways), the Dr.Spectrum spin off is surprisingly good aswell, didn't expect much from it, but was happily surprised.

Going to have a look at the graphic novels of strazinskys (sorry about spelling) Spiderman series at some point too, based on his good work on supreme power

Stachzynsky is about to start a run on Fantastic 4.
He's one of Marvels top two writers at the moment, along with Bendis, so they're putting him onto FF to tie in with the movie that's comiing out this summer.
The arc that he's writing is meant to be really, really good too.

hmmm...I've never read any of the fantastic four, (well a tiny bit years and years ago), but i'd pick it up for Stachzynsky's writing.....
I'm waiting on a fre TPB's of the spiderman issues he did to arrive in the post....

    Tangled Web is brilliant alright.
I'm not a Spider-Man fan, but i started reading for Strachzynskys writing, and I'm still there!
