I read this today. It seems to be a real event, but makes no sense. Has anyone else read about this? Do you think it'd real?

(I wasn't sure if this should go in the pet section, but it seemed general enough to post here. If not please move)

    Rover's Leap
LMFAO I couldn't help but laugh at that phrase.
I think if you were to whether ot not some dogs have lost the will to live I think you'd have to go into whether they have souls or not. Survival is basic instinct. I supose dogs leaping off bridges is evidence that they have souls and the ability to think etc.

I supose if you tortured (e.g. shooting it with a stun gun) a dog enough maybe its instincts might change.

It wouldn't be Lenny's dog by any chance would it?
It's probably something like a reflection in the water that distorts the distance... mightily weird though.

'Tales from the Madhouse' is an appropriate name!
Sounds like a piss-take but I doesn't look like it is.

Freaky... but on the bright side, it'll be a new tourist attraction, boosting the local economy, and creating new jobs; like dog breeders. They could sell dogs real cheap near the bridge, so tourists could buy them and walk them across the bridge to witness the whole incident.

    It's genius!

This wins the double crown of funniest/most inhumane thing I've read in a long time.

What a laugh, that sounds like it was made up or something.

    agree it sounds made-up.
They do self-destruct if they are distressed enough. Stop eating lose their fur and sort of waste away. Happens sometimes to dogs in kennels.
Like it says in tharticle, they don't kill themselves.
