Theres a company in Newbridge that specialise in these. They are called Central Health and Safety Ltd. You should get in touch with them.

I would be willing to do the Safety Statement for €400 + VAT @ 23%. Unfortunately I would be travelling up from Cork to do it. Normally I would do them for €350 + VAT. It is the diesel costs, time etc. If you were able to line up another company as well while I am up there, I would do the two for €300 + VAT each

Plumber from Limerick - two options that would do the job perfectly.

    1. If you have less than 3 employees, you work to this code of practice instead of having a safety statement link €50.00 - http://www.hsa.ie/eng/Publications_and_Forms/Publications/Construction/Construction_Safety_Code_of_Practice_For_Contractors_with_Three_or_Less_Employees.html

    2. HSA have an online safety statement builder that will do exactly the same job but for free! link - http://www.hsa.ie/eng/Topics/BeSMART/

Save yourself a few bob, whilst at the same time taking a concerted effort in the preparation of your safety statement.

A safety statement should be business / premises specific. Anyone who does these thing and is worth his salt will do a detailed survey of premises, identify risks and hazards and so on. You're basically paying for time, and a good safety statement can run into tens or even hundreds of pages depending on the size and nature of the business / premises.
