Hi, does anyone know where to get tubing to build a scope?

    Cheers,

Try a builders merchant. Those tubes they use for forming concrete pillars are supposed to be good.

    That can be quite heavy.

Go for a length of Wavin pipe. I've buit 2 X 8 inch reflectors, both using 9 inch diamater wavin pipe.

Hi, FYI I found this crowd in uk do tubing, and plenty other stuff.
Unsure how well it would make the trip though.

    Dave,
if you are brave enough, just go to a building site and ask the site foreman if any spare 6 or 7 ft lengths of 9 inch Wavin are available. Tell him what you want to build. They'll probably smirk at you, but I'll bet you get that bit of Wain in the end!

They are about 3 to 4 mm thick walled.

    Seanie.
