    Hi

Has anyone here ever rented anything from motorhome.ie? I wanna rent something for about 4 days but it says you must be 25-70 to drive, the person driving is 24.Any help is appreciated!

    Cheers Mike

Mih, I guess 25 is for insurance purposes?
I'd imagine a 70 year old would be more of a risk behind the wheel of a motorhome, but that's insurance companies for you
I reckon if, God forbid, you had some kind of accident or the vehicle was damaged somehow that the insurance company might tell the rental company to feck off on a technicality and they'd end up trying to get the money out of you guys... this is just me thinking out loud, but it seems risky if this is the case.
You could always invite someone 25+ on the road trip (or whatever it is), I'd say someone you know would love to go along.

Its pretty standard with rental companies that the driver has to be over 25 years of age. Not sure whether you'll be able to get around it- one possibility might be to get someone who is over 25 listed as the main driver, and the 24 year old as a "secondary driver"......
    Worth a shot.
