Dilemma

    Hi,
I have a dilemma on my hands. I installed my network cards latest driver/software (it's a 2200BG intel wireless card) because I was getting the so called "Blue screen of death" at various times and every time I pressed Alt+G in Exact Audio Copy programme.

It solved the BSOD problem but now my internet connection is terrible. It disconnects every now and then but more often then not, it is really slow. If I open the programme and click refresh the networks it seems to boost it from 24MB to 48 or so and will load the page quicker etc.

Remember, I am on a wireless connection, with UTV internet (but I don't think that makes a difference).

Could it be to do with security settings or anything like that?

    And help appreciated:)

Aha, I may have solved this!

I went to the adapter settings, power management and put clicked off default and put it to the max settings.

It's been fine so far, the past 2 minutes, so hopefully it will keep up the good performance:)
