    Hello all,

How exactly do you do a three axis chart in Excel? Looked it up online and can't find much information on making the third axis.. just information on making a third line for a scatter chart.

This is the chart i was to put into Excel:

    image35.gif

Notice the axis for lactate, speed and heart.

Any suggestions / advice on how to implement this into Excel is much appreciated.

    Many thanks in advance.

Insert -> Chart -> Custom Types -> Lines on 2 Axes.

    Easy peasy.

    Cheers for that Seamus.

Am having hassle getting it to recognise / label the third (right) axis still though!

Right-click on the white area of the chart and stick in the labels for Y axis and Secondary Y axis. :)

Send me on the data if you want, I'll sort if for you.

Maybe my use of the word 'labelling' was a little inaccurate!

    Recognise was more appropriate.

I was in source data but all i can find in there is a way to label the secondary x-axis (see attachment) but it's the secondary y-axis i want labelled.

Maybe i'll take you up on your offer of sorting the data. I want the data from the third grid from the left to be in the secondary y-axis.

    Here it is.

    Much appreciated, seamus.
