    A black one with no trem, along the lines of this but with EMG's. I'm not sure he ever used it on an album though. I don't think that exact model is made anymore, the RR5 seems to be the closest modern equivalent.

    He used it on the Black album, at least for laying down the drum tracks.

    he uses a gibson flying v for sad but true, ive seen videos of him use it to play fade to black in the 80s, but he uses a les paul for that now

    He uses lots of guitars for various songs at various times but he has used the RR for Sad But True

    Yeah, the RR was used for years tuned to D (or whatever sad but true is tuned to)

    He's had it since the ride the lightning era so i'm sure it's been used in recordings. You can see him playing it hooked up in the year and a half in the life of.. video.
