Testing EsatBT Broadband speeds

    Hi,
    I'm looking for a method to, or application that will allow me to randomly test the speed of my EsatBT Broadband connection. Can you all put your "far wiser than mine" heads together and help me out with this one.

    I tested my connection and the result was an average of 320 kbit. Does this sound right?

    Try www.bandwidthplace.com/speedtest - gives a subjective rating too :)

    873.8 kilobits per second
    Communications 873.8 kilobits per second
    Storage 106.7 kilobytes per second
    1MB file download 9.6 seconds
    Subjective rating Good

    and the other one http://www.u.tv/speedtest/ I got
    948592 bytes transferred in 8.218 secs

    902 kbit

    what provider are you with and on what package?all my results are double yours and i'm on iol broadband

    I'm on iol broadband plus and my results are half that of Mohanned...... can't be good can it..??
