Does anyone knoe if there is any technical issues with using an american laptop over here i.e. power supply, replacing parts etc???

In relation to this thread: Click Here where dell.com are selling laptops considerably cheaper than dell.ie almost half price as far as I can see unless I'm missing something really obvious...

no issues with dell, anyway. probably not with any other brands

you'll be charged a whack load of duty on it, though, if you buy from dell.com, unless you do it illegally

If something goes wrong, would Dell Ireland be helpful with within warranty repairs?

you can transfer the warranty to another country. i don't know what it involves, but it is possible.
