Yeah along with their prices being way over the top. They fecking cripple ya for what should be a cheap flight to popular european and british destinations.

their prices arent that bad, they arent totally a no frills airline like ryanair yet. I hope they dont go down that route.

Aer Lingus are the best if you want a last minute flight to the UK. I often get flights from them the day before I want to travel for €30 or thereabouts. Ryanair are usually in the hundreds come the day before.

I second this. For convenience to central London and last minute booking you can't beat Aer Lingus.

Ryanair flights for London work out about the same after you have to pay €30 for a return on the Gatwick express, and their service is crap.

If you're a student and don't have a Laser or credit card, you can't book with aerlingus.com or Ryanair for that matter. In France, for example, you can pay by cheque for online payments and in Germany, you can use your bank account details.

Anyone know why this is not possible in Ireland?

something to do with irish banks needing to make more money.

ps, turn off your bold button @_@

Most travel agents will book Ryanair flights for you, at the prices on the website plus a handling fee for themselves. Not as cheap as using a credit card, but it's better than nothing.

Thanks Robbie1876. I contacted Aer Lingus in Germany to see if I could pay for aerlingus.com flights by bank transfer using my German bank details. Got a positive response.

Sorry, I meant direct debit rather than bank transfer. Can also pay for ryanair.com site by direct debit (German bank accounts only). No need for credit card, cool! :D
