    Boylesports prices:

    05 Mar 19:30 Kerry v Dublin 4/7 7/1 7/4
    06 Mar 14:30 Mayo v Cork 4/5 7/1 5/4
    06 Mar 14:30 Tyrone v Offaly 1/4 9/1 7/2
    06 Mar 14:30 Westmeath v Donegal 4/5 7/1 5/4

    06 Mar 14:30 Galway v Sligo 2/7 9/1 10/3
    06 Mar 14:30 Laois v Armagh EVS 7/1 EVS
    06 Mar 14:30 Wexford v Limerick 1/2 7/1 2/1
    06 Mar 14:30 Down v Kildare 2/5 7/1 5/2

    06 Mar 14:30 Monaghan v Fermanagh 6/5 7/1 5/6
    06 Mar 14:30 Roscommon v London 1/200 20/1 14/1
    06 Mar 14:30 Leitrim v Clare 7/4 7/1 4/7
    06 Mar 14:30 Longford v Carlow 8/13 7/1 13/8

    06 Mar 14:30 Wicklow v Louth 4/6 7/1 6/4
    06 Mar 14:30 Tipperary v Meath 9/2 10/1 1/6
    06 Mar 14:30 Derry v Cavan 5/6 7/1 6/5
    06 Mar 14:30 Antrim v Waterford 1/4 9/1 7/2

There's often good money to be made on the NFL. In the last round Waterford were a crazy 3/1 or close to 4/1 in places to beat Tipp and I believe 7/2 is possibly a little to high on Waterford to beta Antrim also.
    Any opinion smost welcome :)

I think Antrim are a different kettle of fish to Tipperary though, tbh IrishTW. I'd say Antrim being the home team and a fairly decent side they should beat Waterford.

I think most of those odds are a fair reflection on how the games will pan out.

I was at the Waterford - Antrim game in Walsh Park last year (one of approx 200 hardy souls) and Waterford werent too far away from them whatsoever, had €30 on us to beat tipp and will fire another few quid on for the game on sunday as well. 2 wins on the bounce after a blank 3 years??????

I would have had Tipp down as a better team then Antrim. They have a few handy players down there, if the board would just give the footballers a bit more support!

I think Wateford's win has to be taken in the context of how bad Tipp might be. They've only scored 0-9 in their two games to date. I'd make Antrim warm favourites against Waterford, though 1/4 is probably too short.

I predict that at least 10, maybe 12 of the 16 games will be home wins. It'll be about picking the right ones though!

Dubs by 2??? That is hopeful but I think Pillar has a good squad of players together for this year and hopefully, we can progress in the League in preparation for a good summer! :D

My English just isnt up to it.

    Can anyone help me please?

What is the word for someone who slags another team/supporter only one day after their own team has suffered an eleven point mauling :o:p

Notice I didn't put down any predictions for that game... :p

And I'm not going to put down any excuses ie. missing players, pitch etc. We just aren't fit enough to compete with Derry. Larry Reilly, John Tierney, Colm Hannon and co all look like they've gone on the fast food diet over the holiday season. Lorcan Mulvey shouldn't be in the senior squad at all never mind starting (the same Lorcan Mulvey that was playing in Division 4 for Butlersbridge minors two years ago). Nicolas Walsh is only playing because he had a decent reputation in the Aussie Rules. Also three Goonies in the full back line, that is a joke.

My final thought on this matter is... Coleman, get your finger out of your hole and get some decent players in. There are plenty at your disposal.

Is it ok to slag them now? :p;)

    I'm from Waterford.
Please slag me about our 28 point defeat to Cavan.
    What a shocking performance --> 5-8 to 0-2 at HT I think :(

  • Moderators, Regional North East Moderators Posts: 12,739 Mod ✭✭✭✭cournioni

I doubt if even our hurling team would lose by that much to Waterford!

Were you at the match IrishTW?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 64 ✭✭IrishTW

    no thankfully not.

I heard a report from the reporter on our local station WLRFM and he sounded almost in tears :(

He described the attendance as tiny, tiny... and the game as terrible although I doubt it was terrible form a Cavan perspective :)

No good can come from a mismatch like that I don't think. Will it give Waterford a kick up the arse? Surely they aren't as bad as the scoreline shows.

No, we held Meath level until into the 2nd half last week - but before that we were hammered by Antrim so we kinda go from really really bad performances to good (but still losing) performances.

Meath? You mean Derry surely IrishTW. In the game after the Waterford-Dublin hurling match. We also beat Tipp early in the season - our first win in football in over 3 years!

today is Fools Day , not yesterday

    11/1 Limerick ??? 1/100 Armagh???

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 242 ✭✭Keano_sli

Pity the Fool!, that was the price yesterday I got 20 on Limerick has now come in to 1/20 Armagh 20/1 Limerick 13/2 though. Gamebookers always has a really good price hiding among the other already better prices.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 64 ✭✭IrishTW

Yep Limerick are a great bet. I read on the BBC website that Armagh are playing a lot of players who would not be considered first choice.
