    right, basicaly i really pissed off my girlfriend today and am going to have to make it up to her tomorrow afternoon.......now the conundrum: where the f*ck do i bring her all afternoon around town without going drinkin, i know there are loads of places to go but for the life of me cant think of anything to do on a thursday afternoon. any suggestions?

    Unless you've 'properly' apologised, it won't matter where you take her, she'll still be pissed off. Take her somewhere quiet and talk (honestly). The Botanic gardens on a fine day is quite a nice pre-making up place I think.

    I quite like free things.
    National Gallery (which has nice nosh too), and National Museum. Walk in Merrion Square, Stephen's Green.
    If money is not too much of an issue - they do a nice lunch in the Morrisson.
