I transferred two Mpegs from one computer to another through my barricade router and the quality has reduced from what it was!

On the computer that I saved the file on, they play perfectly but on the computer I’ve transferred them on the quality has lessened an awful lot!

I’ve transferred Mpegs from one to the other before and not had this problem!

Anyone have any reasons why this may be happening

I doubt the quality decrease was caused by the transfer. Are they the same size before and after?

You probably dont have the correct codecs installed. Try Videolan player.

There is no possible way whatsoever for a digital file to degrade in quality :P
Play them with the same player and same codecs........
