Busking thread !!

i live in galway im pretty good singer and a ok guitar player(playing bout a yr)
i've been busking once (didn't go great) but i plann to do it regularly not really for money just for fun

id like this thread to be a place where other buskers can share advise, stories good songs to play etc.

If noting else id really appriciate any good advise or tabs or neone wants to "jam" get in touch

good idea but you wont get much of an answer in this forum, try posting it under SYSTEM -> FEEDBACK. This is where most forums are requested.

And forums shouldn't be requested in Feedback, they should be requested in Forums.

ANyway back to busking.
Busking is fun alright!
I've only really done it at night time when drunk.
A few years ago we used to get a rake of cans and head down the village around pub closing time, sit outside and play guitars/bongos. We'd take requests and everyone would end up joining in. Great fun. Knacker drinking can be fun you see!
One night people randomly started thowing money in. Nobody remembered to take it with them afterwards but someone was down the next day and seen a few kids having a great time finding coins everywhere after mass!
Ahh what a pleasent story.

...and old jimmy jo-jo brought us some lemonade that his maw made from the lemon tree in our back garden.

im living in galway so the busking culture is ripe here
most of the buskers dont seem to be regular surfers though (-;

still hope to find a few braves souls who can advise add an amusing story thanks guys
