    Hi
    Ok I know this sounds silly! but...

    Do you ever hear a song on the radio and remember it from being in a film but can't figure out what film it is in? I know what little I have to be thinking about? But can anyone agree or shed some light on this silly topic?? :o

    Do you have a particular song in mind, or are you just talking about the general phenomena?

    if you go into perfect pitch with the words of a song they will try find out all the info on it (who wrote it made it who sang it and what tv shows and films it was in)

    I mean like for example "Inner smile" by Texas - it was in Bend it like Beckham. Ok it doesn't really matter but it was just on my mind and decided to see if anyone else understood :(

    Its worse for music scores.
    I've got the music score for the Shawshank Redemption and The Insider on CD - both amazing music that really made each film.
    However, lots and lots of documentaries use the same music.
    Sometimes its hard to watch the documentary, as the music brings up the film scene it comes from in my mind :p

    Happens to me occasionally I can be in the pub haveing a nice drink and talking about suff and then I hear a song that I know and like and it's from that movie, you know the one with that person in it. It's really annoying. I generally don't mind not remembering things that I should know, which a lot of people find really annoying but the songs do get me :) and often cause me to creat run-on sentences that are confusing and stuff
