    Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of the drivers for the DVD Burner above!!

I bought one from Komplett but it didnt come with any drivers. I have checked the NEC site but havent had much success and I also checked the usual sites including driversguide.com but havent been able to come accross it.

While I am here does anyone know of a decent freeware programme for burning??

    Thanx,

    Branners..

Freeware burning would be cd burner pro - works perfectly.

As above you dont need drivers for the burner.

no drivers needed but you should update the firmware to remove the riplock and make it rpc1. the NEC's read in original dvds at low speed so they will not be noisy when watching movies. means you can rip them faster with riplock removed

    I found it here.

free software is dvd decrypter and dvd shrink
both available by googling or www.doom9.net
