    They are a FANTASTIC BAND.
Blown away by them before. WOW. So whats keeping them getting their act together?

Well, I have to say. Jove rocked the Olympia at the weekend. I didn't really pay much attention to the other bands, as I was in the bar with a few mates, but I went down the front (with my wristband) for Jove. I highly recommend you check them out if you get a chance..

I must admit I was in the bar untill Jove came on, but then I was down the front with my trusty wristband!
I agree, Jove were great. Much better than I was expecting.

nice to see you got into the spirit of the night and "supported" the other bands by staying in the bar with your mates. your a true friend to local music....or maybe is it just Jove

I was there to support Jove. Not the other bands. I don't like standing watching bands I know nothing about, so I sat down in the bar and listened to them instead. I wasn't very impressed with any of them anyway. I'd go and see Jove again though, they were very very good.

Man your a true fan of music then i must say. you wouldnt watch a band you know nothing about. all i can say is thank god 2fm and mtv are there to supply you with your quota of the killers and the frames. i mean how else would you have discovered these bands. speaking of killers i'm sure you had a killer vantage point to listen to all those other bands from the bar. nice to see your giving other bands a chance.
now run off, i think sattitude is starting.
Good stuff for bigging up your mates band though

To correct the unfairness of irlirishkev's 'review'.....it was a great night all 'round. The Delorentos rock and i'd encourage anyone to go and see them, Alphastates were great, real pro's. I don't really get 66E but lots of people loved them on the night and they can certainly play, just not my thing. I didn't see the opening two acts and i'm a fan and friend of Jove's so i'll just say they were as good as always. pity that a lot of punters didn't bother leaving the bar for any band, really.....must be tough finding new music if you don't listen to bands you've never heard. Well done to all involved for getting off your arse's and trying something new.

I'm not going to get into a petty argument over this over the internet, but I have an incredibly broad taste in music. Just because I don't have to 'watch' a band to listen to them doesn't suggest any different. And for the record, when I first arrived in, I did watch the band that were on. They bored me so I went to the bar.
Now here, borrow my ladder and get back on your high horse

Man you mean to tell me that you can hear a band playing in the venue from the bar to a level that you can actually establish that you do or do not like them. You know we're talking about the Olympia here right. You might as well be in Ricks Burgers. The shear irony that you like Jove but yet thought the other bands bored you. Your a bell. i am going to stop posting on this thread now cause i dont like you.
