Difference in Apprenticeships?

I've been looking into Apprenticeships lately and am thinking of going for the Electrical/Instrumentation Apprenticeship.

From looking at some of these on offer, from the FAS sebsite they list the Apprenticeships as Electrical/Instrumentation, but on some websites like Mercury they just say instrumentation Apprenticeships, does anyone know if they are the same or different Apprenticeships.
This may seem like a daft question but I thought I's ask anyway!

I'd go with FAS since they are the crowd you do it through! Good luck with it any way:)

Yeah I have to Register with FAS anyway, but I'm wondering if Electrical/Instrumentation Apprenticeship is completely different to the Instrumentation Apprenticeship?

    I wouldnt really know.

I'm doing a Carpentry/Joiner apprentice and they are both under the same qualification. However, they are different really. But you still get qualified in both, but when in college you will experience both!

    Thanks Cormie,

I printed out a lot of stuff on them from the fas website to see what the difference is, so hopefully they will shed some light on the subject!!

If your goin to be a sparks you'd be better off goin to a small company,i know lads who apprenticed for 2 of the big electrical contracters, they were still doin tray work after 2 years.
