    Do you think this shot looks better with the fill flash or without? i cant decide, although i think i prefer it without.....cheers :)

    i think the fill in flash is needed but isn't bright enough in your shots. I did a quick photoshop edit of what i think is a better photo

    I think it looks better without definately,i think the contrast of the foreground with the bright horizon line is great,I can see why ya might have wanted to modify the darkness but i still think its more effective without. :o)

    That's a great shot, I think it looks better without the flash.

    What camera did you use if you don't mind me asking?

    I'm kind of with dotOrg I must admit. The darker shot just looks too under exposed and the shot with the flash still isn't bright enough. Are you using the standard on camera flash?

    I agree the shot looks under exposed but I think the noise in DotOrg's version is worse.

    The noise is worse but I think he is just showing how he would like the exposure level to be. It's hard to brighten something to that extent in a program and make it look good.

    I was using my canon 300d, tis great, would recommend it to anyone!

    I didnt actually use the falsh at all, i probably should start using it though as everytime i take a photo of that ilk the foreground is always under exposed. you think investing in a flash gun would be a good idea?
