Alright people, looking for ideas on places to go and things to do in the south east of ireland, south tipp, waterford and killkenny in particular.

lately i've found that my girlfriend and i are constantly bored and have nothing to do around here. we both have transport so driving ain't a problem, just trying to find something different to do that is inexpensive. Something to pass a few hours on weekends.

there is only so many times you can go walking along the beach in tramore and the like before you get bored, or driving along the coast.
bowling in waterford is a bit on the dear side, dunno if there is still go karts in rosegreen in tipp, if there is anyone know the price of those? probably expensive too :(

i'm currently unemployed hence the reason i'm looking for cheap things to do to pass some time.

    any help is greatly appreciated.

I live in carlow and there's some new place open called 'The Dome' with bowling, pool tables the usual stuff like that. Nice place though worth a look anyways. And last year i went go karting in som small town just before you come into kilkenny(on the carlow) side €40 for an hour expensive but mad crack. Thats all i can think of

I try wexford, waterford but theres only so much you can do. when i was little i loved the heritage park in ferrycarrig outside wexford on the dublin road. but that was then

There's a kart track that's supposed to be good in south kilkenny - just 5 minutes down the road from Waterford city apparently. As far as I can remember there's a big sign for it at that roundabout on the way out of waterford towards kilkenny.
