Unlocking a phone

    iv got a sony ericsson V800 and its locked to vodafone. I need it to be unlocked to my network of O2. is there an easy, quick and free way of doing it instantly?

    damn vodafone are taking fecking ages to come up with the code....they say its going to take weeks.....im not waiting that long..

    Plus my phone is just sitting here collecting dust!! i cant fecking use it....

    wiggers... :mad:

    Any help? :(

    Thats weird my friend rang up Vodafone and he got the code straight away

    nah i rang vodafone and they had to fill out some form and send it away to sonyericsson and then they give you the unlocking code.

    i think its coz its a new phone and all that....not sure tho :confused:

    i think you have to spend over €130 on your acc before they will give it to you.

    You've just answered your own question.If your Vodafone which your not(your 02) then if you have spent 130euro then its easy as ABC.

    theres a free program you can download that produces a code to unlock your phone. All you have to do is put in your serial number. Im not sure of the website but just google "Sim unlocking" and you should find it.
