I have an Old DVD/CDRW drive that I have taken from an Old 4yo dell computer.

I want to put it into my other computer as a second CD drive.

My question is, will the computer overheat with the second CD drive in it? or will it be ok. Bit of a novice question I know, but im just making sure...

Also, the old sound card is at my diposal? any reason to have two soundcards in the machine? will it improve the sound or just be a second card doing nothing

    Thanks.

No it will not overheat and having a second sound card is of no use - in fact you may even get a conflict with the 2 cards. Choose the better of the 2 and install that
