    I remember it like that. May 2001 was my join date. It won't let you deep enough to view individual posts although that could be a good thing! A lot of those guys still about which is good to see.

    hehe...i remember those "for sale" "sport" "after hours" lads from my old user, used to play CS back then, and everybody you saw on the irish servers youd see on boards!! :)

    Brings to mind DeVore having a bad publicity stunt idea whereby we (by "we" he strongly hinted he meant Spin's most junior employee, namely their only employee at the time, namely me) would get a car, paint "www.boards.ie" on the side of it and then crash it somewhere prominent enough that said car-crash would be newsworthy and we'd get in all the papers.

    There are a few obvious problems with that idea that led to it not being implemented. Not least that I don't have a license.
