How do I get stills from a DVD

    Don't laugh... I honestly don't know! It's our wedding DVD & there is some footage of later in the evening I'd love to have as photos

    Any clues?

    Offhand I would say use BS Player. I can play DVDs and do frame captures. It generally comes with K-Lite codec pack.

    Play it in a PC DVD player, press the print screen button, paste into paint..... or most PC DVD players actually have a capture feature but thats the easiest method....

    power dvd 6 i think.. or mabye 5 pro. theres an option to pause the film and make a jpeg ..

    ill ask the mate he does it a lot to make menus etc...

    In PowerDVD just press C and it'll capture screen
