How to get to Boreenmanna Road??

Hi all,
I've just discovered that a friends mum just passed away last nite, and the removal is tonite. I'll be driving down from Dublin to the removal which is in Boreenmanna road, and then on to St Michael's Church in blackrock. Any directions from dublin would be well appreciated, it's a while since I've been down there and I don't wanna be driving around looking for it.

Come through the tunnel - at end of Dublin road select road/lane for ferry/Airport/West Cork,

Take first exit after tunnel (Mahon/Blackrock)

Cross over the bridge and go along the road past Shopping Centra etc until you get to a T-Junction.

Turn left at the T-Junction - drive past Texaco Station ,

straight through next 3 sets of lights and you come to a roundabout,

turn right at the roundabout - you will pass a pub (Silver Key)

keep going - past a sportsground,

the road curves left at the sports ground (Temple Hill) and just there At the right on the bend) is where the O'Connors Funeral Home is.

To Get to the Church just follow the other cars - or: at the funeral home go down the hill, at bootom (Venue Bar) turn right, keep going for about a mile and not long after the Statoil garage the Church is on your right.

Hi,

Resurrecting and old thread as I too am looking to get to this location

However, I'll be coming from the City Centre location. What is the easiest way to get to this funeral home from say the South Infrimary Hospital.

Also what is parking like

Thats probably the handiest way and you'll probably have to park on the side of the road, its wide enough road. Just mind the moving cars getting in and out of your own car!

Another quick question.

The No 2 bus. Does this pass near the SMA church on Blackrock Rd. I am attending a funeral there and have decided not to take the car due to parking etc. How far away from the church does the Number 2 bus stop or is there another bus route that stops near there.
