Is it possible to record the audio track from a DVD i.e. a concert audio track and burn it to cd? Im running PowerDVD and Nero Express.

    Thanks

Yep, quite easy if you have creative software, just choose the mixer, change the drop down on record to "What u hear" and you'll be able to record anything you can hear using soundrecorder or any other app.

Get yourself dvddecrypter and set it to "IFO Mode"

The different "Tracks" of the DVD will be shown along with the time.
    Like this:

If say you have a music video dvd play the track you want and note how long it is. Will make it easy to find it if there's a few tracks.
Select the one you want and click "Stream Processing" along the top.

Here's what it looks like (thanks google!)

You can see the Audio listed. untick all you don't need and with the audio track you want highlighted click "Demux".
Select the destenation and save to hdd.

Now, depending on DVD you'll get either a AC3, MP2 or a PCM wave to play with. I personallly use besweet to convert these tracks as it's free but feel free to use whatever you like.
    Done!

I realize there's other apps out there but this is my way and the apps are free. You can do what staxx suggested too but with my way you get to transcode the original dvd audio thus getting the best sound in the end. :)
