Actually dont know if we're talking about the same Nationals to be honest. I'm not sure which organisation you're with.

As for the IJKA, the nationals are taking place in clonmel on sunday week.
I'd say I'll enter kata and kumite. Should be fun.

    What about yourself???

WSK? Kata and Team kata just over.

Fun!?! Compititions can be fun? Never heard that before. Crazy royalty...

Of course they can be fun. You just approach them in "crazy Ivan" mode. This is a technique I've perfected over my many years of competitions. It involves trying all methods to distract your opponent, before attacking. Things like winking and smiling weirdly at him, Making strange *dolphin mating* sounds to throw him off, etc*

    tis great fun!!
    ;-)

In Clonmel? Where, when and what time?

Am a TKD student, but I wouldn't mind seeing this karate comp, being from cashel I'm only down the road.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,368 ✭✭✭king_of_inismac

    Sorry for the late reply.

The Nationals are taking place next sunday, the 13th., in the St Somethings hall in Clonmel(sorry, cant remember the name offhand, but I'll check later when I'm at home). Junior competitions start at 10:30 and seniors start at 1.

That's about as much information as I have at the moment...
