Slashdot embeds a Futurama quote in the initial communication from the server. So that is nowt new.

The binary stuff seems to be a gzip compressed web page - maybe it is just a bug, not a "great" hack if it is. You'd expect summat more audacious.

View the source and basically for some reason it's not processing the start of the document and the server headers correctly - it's starting about halfway through the document head, and then dumping the excess data at the bottom of the page, after the </html> tag, instead of at the very start.
