The Dublin Wax museum... I've brought dates there lots of times. Crawling through carpeted tunnels gets girls very excited.

Also... the Bram Stoker / Dracula Museum is great for scary fun...

oh.. and don't forget about the zoo... looking at monkeys will make you laugh...

Go to the History Museum on Kildare St and show her all the gold and jewels. They also have a cute little Egyptian section too.

Or there's the Natural History Museum (also just off Kildare St), full of weird stuffed animals and brains in jars. What girl doesn't love a brain in a jar? :)

what about going to a musical or a play eg the point or the pavilion in dun laoghaire, go to dinner before or after. a musical etc always gets everyone in a good mood, go for a drink afterwards to discuss!

Money no object: Can't go wrong with a fine meal in a fine resaurant €150 probably

Money some: Take her to the Book of Kells in Trinity, maybe start at the National History Museum - the Lecky library (?) - then kebab in Iskanders - best kebab in Ireland I reckon.

Money none (talented extovert): entertain her on Grafton street, with hat/guitar case for public donations: you need to have some talent and be very extroverted for this; if you've already boasted about talents to her and are extroverted and she seems attracted to these qualities - you could win her with this! Otherwise - forget it!

Money none (otherwise): sorry but you are on your own on this one... "Love makes the world go round but money greases the wheel" (quote- unknown to me)

Never had to queue - reckon this was a fleet of tour-busses descending on the place. Might be no harm to ring them - can't think if Lecky has a seperate listing to TCD, but if you persevere you should get through and find out when the locusts are due to appear - fairly sure tour operators worldwide adhere to principal - tell 'em when your coming: when something is open to general public.

What kind of girl is she? I mean, does she have any cultural or creative leanings or does she wear hoopy earrings? That would seem to dictate your possible choices somewhat. Why is the pub out of the question if you're both 18+?

The Dublin literary pub crawl is a good night out, as is bingo. See above.

bring her out to bull island for a ride in the back of your car . . . .

Invite her back to your place for cup of coffee, after whatever. No matter what happens don't have sex. Wait until the third date - this has a cosmo or papal blessing or something  Have to say this rule has worked for me.

You should bring her on a trip of a load of places that are significant to you for some reason or another, let her find out that bit more about you.

For example, you could bring her to your school and show her exactly where you learned your outstanding grasp on the English language.

Or when you meet her pretend your in a musical, right there in the middle of the street. But make it a modern musical, and try to rap and beat-box. She will love you
