    Argos have a good deal on beds at the moment.

    i'm not sure if they're an online retailer though....

    Argos are good enough value. I got my bed (sturdy, nice looking metal frame) for 100 euro from Dunnes.

    I had a mattress already so all I wanted was the frame.

    Homebase in nutgrove are getting rid of some beds at a good price - can't remember exactly how much though,
    edit:
    problem with some places is you have to wait weeks for them to deliver. some mattresses can take 3 months....!!!!

    Argos mattresses can be hit and miss, some of them go really lumpy and uncomfortable after a year so be aware of this if you're planning on buying from them. The frames are great though

    Just had to return a bed to Argos where a mattress was great but frame a dsaster (fell apart as assembling it!!!!)

    Got a new frame in arramount furniture in Fonthill retail park, nr Liffey Valley was €99 for single and €139 (?) for double and excellent - very study!!
