I didnt. Some woman slipped on the stairs at Grand Canal Dock right infront of me, however she had time to grab onto the stranger beside her [not me] to keep her stable. She did not fall. The outside stairs on Grand Canal Dock is tiled, and so was covered in snow, ice and water this morning.

    Brilliant idea, sticking tiles outside.

    *claps*

I was coming into work on my moped and I came off it twice.
Once on black ice and the second going across the Walkinstown roundabout.

    Didn't fall; many slips.
One ould biddy came belting out of her house - practically legging it; like she wanted a broken hip - into my path. The manoeuvre I had to pull not to hit her; it's a miracle I didn't fall.

Walked 20 minutes to bus stop into college, not even a tiny slip. Finally got in the door of the building, wiped my feet but as soon as i touched the tiled floor my foot went flying . Just about managed to keep my balance. Just about :o

Luckily enough when I was coming in this morning there wasn't an awful amount of traffic but it was starting to build. When I was coming out of my estate this morning, there were 3 buses all beside each other sliding away on the black ice, ye'd wanna see it was like an ice rink. I'd say they are still there now. As i couldn't see them gettin out of that one.

Nothing bad at all. Most of the roads were clear. Canals were a bit slushy, but kept her in a high gear, and there was no kick out. No way in hell I was going to overtake anyone though.

held back for a while , but the traffic was too slow to wait ;)
went by with large gaps but the road was slippy in the middle.
went by a line of about 20 cars queing at a set of lights, ehich went green just as i pulled up.

then the engine died, rolled onto a pedestrian island like it was my plan all along
startred up about 30 seconds later...

Is there heavy snow in Dublin?

There was a nice layer on the ground this morning but it seems to be clearing up now.

Didn't seem too heavy. Certainly what was falling were very small flakes, but coupled with dry roads and general coldness, it stuck. As far as I could see out in lucan anyway. Actual covering couldn't have been much more than 2cm.

I nearly slipped walking out to the car, then had about 3 skids on the way to work. The car wanted to go straight, I didnt!

I spent 2 minutes warning my kids to be careful and not to run in the snow, then took 1 step outside, slipped, fell and went flying, only thing to stop me was my daughter standing in front of me who I landed on and she in turn landed on her bum in the middle of the lawn.

    She wasnt very impressed!

Still rather her than me eh ;)

Made record time. Used the buggy as a sort of ice-skating zimmerframe and whizzed along well. Saw someone walk into dog sh*t slush though.
