Bloody well played by Ireland. The only problem was the finishing if the lads had their scoring boots on we could have won it 6 or 7 nil. Then again I thought we'd have more problems from Estonia.

Well done indeed Ireland. Saw it from up high on the north "bucket" (terrace) in Landsdowne myself. Could realistically have been at least 4-0.

Roll on the Finland friendly in November smile.gif

heh, i watched the match in a pub in Spain so my favorite moment was seeing the rain sleeting down on all you guys in the buckets smile.gif (that shot got a bigger cheer than the second goal wink.gif )
gg tho, dunne is coming on in leaps and bounds. I heard the reason he was out in the cold at Everton is cos he laughed when Everton were knocked out of the Worthless cup by some 3rd divison team or something, not sure if thats true.
Anyone noticed that in recent Irish matches underacheiving players have been scoring wornder goals? Kennedy Vs Yugoslavia, McAteer Vs Holland and Holland Vs Portugal. Personally I await Eddie McGoldricks return with baited breath......
