    I miss the linux UI and how you can customise it. Been looking on how to do it on windows.

    Found this site..

    But no luck on getting them to work. :/ Anyone had any joy?

    Alas that there isn't a Fluxbox port for Windows. The problem with Windows is having everything revolve around Explorer. Its difficult to have a truly custom UI with that to deal with-unless you want to go and rewrite the entire Windows API? Feh, even using a replacment desktop shell such as Litestep is iffy as it kills system performance.

    WindowBlinds is pretty good.

    There's also a 3D UI called Sphere XP that looks interesting.

    who needs explorer ?

    shell=progman.exe ;)

    seriously the integration of explorer and iexplore into the OS means any replacement either has to sit on top or lots of things under the bonnet get upset.

    I read there was discussion of porting gnome and kde over to windows in the latest version of Linux Format, but I doubt it'll be anytime soon.
