Guys This is pretty shocking, and on FC3 I cannot tell the difference between the real paypal and the faked one. Whats worse is the fact that IE does not have this problem. I'm surprised nobody has brought this up as it directly affects linux users aswell as dozers and anyone that has it installed on windows.…

Meh! this was published on most of the IT sites a coupla weeks ago. Its serious but not if you are careful. It does rely on you clicking on a link still. If in doubt type the link you want into your browser.

Solution:
Don't follow links from untrusted sources.

Manually type the URL in the address bar.

I'd expect an update quick enough from FFox though considering the amount of people that have swiched over to it.

The IDN spoofing bug is listed as fixed in FireFox 1.0.1 the Firefox vulnrability list.
