    Guys

This is pretty shocking, and on FC3 I cannot tell the difference between the real paypal and the faked one.

Whats worse is the fact that IE does not have this problem.

I'm surprised nobody has brought this up as it directly affects linux users aswell as dozers and anyone that has it installed on windows.

All my online buying is at an end untill this is resolved (not that I have any cash left)

I'm sure there will be a work around soon enough for this. But for now you have been warned.

There was a thread about this in the computers forum last week. I think there was a workaround suggested.

I'm using the new Feb20th build on Windows, and there is no problem.

Meh! this was published on most of the IT sites a coupla weeks ago. Its serious but not if you are careful. It does rely on you clicking on a link still. If in doubt type the link you want into your browser.

Bit worrying when the solution is:

    Solution:
Don't follow links from untrusted sources.

Manually type the URL in the address bar.

I'd expect an update quick enough from FFox though considering the amount of people that have swiched over to it.

Wouldn't the spoofstick extension have shown this
Or even flags if the TLD changed.

New release 1.0.1 is out now, so the new version should fix this IDN bug

The IDN spoofing bug is listed as fixed in FireFox 1.0.1 the Firefox vulnrability list.
