St Patricks Week?

    Howdy,

    Currently living over in Wales. Gonna bring some friends home for a few days to celebrate St Pat's day. I'm from Dublin. We are all students so ideally would like it to be as cheap as possible :D

    Anyone know if Galway or Cork have much going on or would be much cheaper? Any suggestions for things to plan that week would be cool.

    Anyone know when Skyfest is on?

    well dublin will be dear enough dont you know for drink, etc. Cork is hardly much better. I'd go with Galway, as it has loads of students. (something like 20% of the population of galway city are students) Should be good for a laugh for paddys day +/- a few days either side of it!

    Back in my day it was just, well, a day.

    I had to laugh when I heard the Chemical Brothers gig being advertised for "St. Patricks Eve". Grrr.

    I'd agree with Fuzzy, anywhere is going to be cheaper than Dublin, but Cork wouldnt be much better. If Galway indeed has 20% student population I'd say it's the place to go :d
