    Any one know any good computer jokes to play on people, such as switching the mouse button from left to right every 10 minutes or just some silly things, nothing that does any real damage to the system.

    1/ Flip the desktop 180.

    2/ Take a screenshot of the desktop, set it as the background, and then hide the taskbar and move the icons to another folder (don't delete them!)

    erm...

    If you've got two PC's close to each other - put the keyboard (or mouse) from one in front of the other and vice versa. Victim sits down and huh, hey, this keyboard is busted!

    Remote desktop client - especially if you've recently been talking to the victim about paranormal activity / poltergeists etc. Start typing messages on their screen, "Hello, I've been waiting for you to come back..."

    Setup a really embarassing sound for some common system event and make sure the speakers are on full tilt.

    Tape up the rollers inside the mouse - but allow the ball to rotate.

    Get a program called VNC, it's free. Install it on your POC and someone elses on the network and control their PC from yours. I've used it to bring up porn pages on a workmates PC when he had his back turned and other workmates could see it.

    Print screen on the desktop, paste into mspaint and set as desktop background. Then move/hide a few of his desktop shortcuts. Then laugh as he clicks furiously on his wallpaper trying to open something.
    If he uses quick launch icons, drag his taskbar up to the top of the screen.

    just use symantec pcanywhere. Best ever! or get one of those prank vbasic programs that switches the background for 2 seconds every ten mins. Get some gay porn or something and load it into the program. So every 10 mins or so the background will change to it!
    <harmfull!!>
    Or else put some burnt oil on their heatsink. After about 1 hour, it will start to smell like your computer is burning. Which it probably will be.

    Change the keyboard layout to German (works best for a secretary who can touch type). The Y and Z keys are swapped - most of the rest of the keys stay the same :D
