Sorry if this is a repost guys but we finally splurged and bought bf1942. We have played before. Just a quick question. Do we need to buy a complete version for each machine on the lan...like it says on the box (1 cd per machine) I know there are various other methods but just need clarification.

    Thanks Guys

For playing on a LAN, and a LAN only. You can install the same copy of the game using the same CD Key and play against other people using a different CD in each computer.

This is how it used to work anyway, back in the day before many of the more recent updates. It may not work on the latest update, but I could be wrong. This will only work for connecting to local servers..
