Anyone got any examples of low-level Irish corruption?

With good reason, people are quick to accuse Irish politicians of corruption. I think it goes much deeper in Irish life. Here’s my two cent.

Someone on the department staff is leaking the minutes of staff meetings and god knows what else to favoured students. They were in the second to last row at a lecture and passed the typed minutes between themselves, they didn’t seem to notice that I was sitting behind and above them. I could make out a formal request from a female student for something or other, personal problems perhaps or financial difficulties?

Any other examples? I would advise you not to go into specifics such as names, places and institutions.
