    I tried to but the tax office have yet to apply it to my tax charges. Have moved house since so I suppose I should apply for it again.

    You talking about social welfare rent allowence?

    I used to claim that while I was living in Donegal (up until November last year). Rules have changed recently such that you must be living in a place for six months before you're eligable.
