Does anyone know if you have to give IOL BB 30 days notice on cancelling of Broadband ?? or is it simply a case of ringing them up ?

Are you with them for more or less than 12 months. If more, the 30 day notice is required. If less, then you have to finish off the 12 months unless you want to pay them off, but that to me seem a waste.

what i ment was im going to take them up for the 3 month free offer and then switch to smart telecom they should be in my area by then.

mind you only starting the 3 month trial in early march, i take it if you don't write a letter or something they just start the charging me after the trial?
