I bought one 3 weeks ago from a shop on Grafton street (it cost me 279) and am damn glad I bought it in Dublin. Had to return it last week cos it was bust (constantly hanging, losing music and generally being a pain).

New one works fine but met a girl on Monday night who had a similiar experience. So it sounds like they're having problems. And returning something to a shop down the road is straightforward.

I imagine returning it to another continent is not. So the extra 30/40 quid was worth it.

    Hey RE*AC*TOR,

I bought a Zen Micro from BHPhoto there about 2 months ago and I had no problems at all getting it through customs. And, if it helps, I searched around quite hard for the cheapest price and that's the one I ended up choosing!

I also bought a Sony Mic from them last year, and it ended up much much cheaper than buying it here. Likewise, no problems with customs... :-)

Cool thanks - they're one of the few american electronics companies who ship internationally - so I ended up going with them.

I too have had a recent horrendous experience with the zen micros.

I got two-1 came by accident after i had ordered a different one so i got it for free. The other i bought from pixmania.

The first ones hard drive failed on jan 16th, called creative straight away and they said id receive further intructions via email that day. Iv only JUST got the replacement one.Got it yesterday after they sent it to the wrong house with a messed up name. NOW the other players headphone socket is coming loose so il have to return that one too. That'l be another pain in the neck. There customer service is a real hit and miss!
