any help would be greatly appreciated, i ve tried to get my other computer to start this mornin and when it gets to the windows xp loading screen the little blue bar keeps going without going to the desktop, its been like this for the past 10 minutes which is a bit long :(

Might be having a problem loading a driver. Try loading it in safe mode by pressing F8 just before the Loading Windows XP screen comes up.

mmhm, try going to safe mode and look for any exclamation marks alongside devices in Control Panel ->System Devices (i think in XP) Did you add any new hardware recently?
