    I'm thinking of going to Playa Del Ingles, Gran Canaria next summer with a few mates and was looking to see if any of you guys have been and was it good. I went to Torremolinos,Costa Del Sol last summer and thought it was pretty good, would Playa Del Ingles be better??

    Hey General,

    I'v been there a few times and its good but it all depends who is going ... its a totally mad place, lots of late (all) night bars and night clubs etc but its rampent with hookers and drup dealers (cool if thats what your into) fine I suppose for a group of lads (thats who I went with) but you would not bring ur Mrs

    It was like that last year when i was there and my mate was there over xmas thinking it would be different but it was not

    its a ballymun in the sun (no offence to ballyM)

    Hey,

    I have been twice and never again(that goes for all of those spanish package holidays). It's full of drink/drugs/slappers/fights and Spanish people, the whole area itself is very tacky and the only thing that makes it half decent is the sunshine.

    Personally I would do something more interesting...interail, go to asia(will cost you the same amount for a month).

    I cant advise against this place strongly enough but thats just me. You say you enjoyed the other Spanish locations so you may enjoy this.

    I just dont understand why people waste holiday allowance going to places like these unless they are leaving cert's or the likes. Your not visiting a different culture, your not going to learn anything and you will be dying to get home by the last 3 days because you have drank so much crap beer or got mouth aids from some slapper.

    Id advise against playa del ingles. I believe its very scumbag-ish according to many of my friends and very expensive. A couple of people at work have been telling me they are going to Playa Del Ingles also, dirtbags! :) Try a different resort maybe, just my 2 cents
