Hi guys, I am trying to join 2 divx files together, and was wondering if anyone can recommend a simple, fast utility to do this? They are two halves of the same movie, so have the same frame rate etc.

I did google, and tried a couple of free utilities, but the sound was always out of sync.. :(

    virtualdub will do this
you may have to recode the audio first
if its variable bitrate then itll get out of synch when you do anything with the video.

Thanks Chalk, I used gspot and it gives me a bitrate of something like 1066 (can't really remember), doesn't say anything about variable anyways. I just tried to open the file now, and it's xvid... says that virtualdub cannot open it if it uses windows media player codecs or something... argh! :)

Is there anything a video amateur like myself can use? I'm afraid I don't know enough about it all, I've tried but it's a science in itself. :(
