When gmail first arrived, I registered my interest in it. Since then I have got my own account elsewhere, but today I got invited directly by Gmail.

I dunno how safe/secure it is ... I was sent a message addressed to myname.my2ndname@gmail.com but my address is mynamemy2ndname@gmail.com and I still got the message ???

e.g

My Address is joebloggs@gmail.com

I received a mail addressed to joe.bloggs@gmail.com

The mail had some private info in it on travel arrangements for a trip of some sort. I mailed google about it but have not got a response as of yet.

Other than that I've had no major issues and am liking the mail service ...

Are you serious ??? so J.oebloggs@gmail.com is the same as joebloggs@gmail.com etc. etc. ; Do you have any link to info. about this ?? I'm curious as the mail 100% should not have been addressed to me ..

Some crazy stuff is happening to me also. I got a failure notice from a company called enterworks regarding an email I never sent. In the "forwarded" section, it said: From: Rigoberto <MY EMAIL> To: melonia.musser-brauner@enterworks.com

It was an image about online pharmacies in the email that "I" sent
Kinda worried about it, someone sending mail on my behalf?

Personally I dont like gmail. It's good because of the size or emails one can recive, but for that I just use; yousendit.com
