    You for real?

The one on the right goes into the USB port of the PC, the one on the left goes into the Camera, MP3 player, etc, etc.

BTW, if you don't know what to do with it after all that, I'll take it off you ;):)

you should have a cable with one type on one end, the other type on the other.

You need a cable with both ends having the connection on the right?

Sorry I should me more clear :o . The cable I have is the same a the pic above, ie mini-usb one end & normal-usb the other. My problem is I can't connect the min-usb to my PC, I need some sort of adapter or cable to connect the mini-usb into to go into my PC.

You need a cable with the standard USB plug on both ends, I think somebody here said that, and another wanted the one you now have.

    OK
You DONT need to put the min-usb into your PC
    Put USB into pc
    Put Mini usb into device.

    Example
    Kettle flex

Put 3 pin plug into wall - put other end into kettle!

why dont you plug the mini usb into the device its intended for?
if you got the wrong cable with your hub, request a new one.

if you werent meant to get one buy a new one.
mini-usb to usb adapters are not something youd see very often

    1. The device doesn't have a mini-usb port.
    2. I did get the wrong cable and it would be quicker to find out where I could get an adapter cable my-self as I got the device in the UK.
    3. Thank you.

Places like Peats, Maplins, PC World, Dixons, Curries etc should all have the right cable you need (they might call it something like a USB Printer cable). Don't know about adapters though, never seen one before.

I'll second that and probably cheaper. Your local PC shop would probably have it
